Starting teaching practice at V.P.S.H.S.S. VENGANOOR

                                             To educate is not the filling of a pail , but delighting of a fire . They may forget what we said but they will not forget how you made them feel . By holding several assumptions , I made myself ready to acquaint with the new face of my bed curriculum , thus I started my first day as a teacher trainer today. I was  so excited to be a teacher.

                                 Vps hss venganoor is the school allotted for me for the 20 day teaching practice. apart from me there were 10 student teachers from our Christ Nagar college. 

                                      I reached the school at 8:50 AM and there was a prayer at 9:00 AM conducted by and for teachers, after that there had a general instructions to teachers by principal. At 9:15 AM prayer for students was held.

                                   The school time is from 9:15 AM to 12:15 PM including 4 periods in total. We the 11 prospective teachers have given a room for a temporary dwelling. During the first period,  there held a hello English program. We met miss Manju teacher at 9:30 AM and she gave us the timetable and allotted the class.

                                    I got the charge of English teacher in 8th E. It was me who take the first class from us. My concerned teacher sharat introduce the me to students as their temporary English teacher. My class started at 10:40 AM it was the 3rd period. 

                                I started my class with a warm good morning my  students also greeted me with pleasant smile. I made a rappo with them then I inquire whether you like English or not. I show a video related to smart work after seeing that I asked them what is the difference between hard work and smart work. They now understand what smartwork and hard work is and I gradually entered into the section I asked them to read the first 2 paragraph of the story light on the hills by Lucy Clifford and underlying the difficult words then I show in vocabulary in PowerPoint presentation and I made a model reading then I asked them questions regarding it surprisingly they all responded to me and I'm satisfied then I give them some discourse activities and I checked their comprehension through some more questions and gave them follow up activity as homework.

                                   I really enjoyed my first class in 8th E I felt it as a proud moment in my life forever!

Teaching practice day 22

Today was a section of vaccination to our children. childrens of 14 years came under get vaccinated. As a teacher we also engaged in the program of vaccination in our school venganoor.                          The team of nurses and doctors came from mukkola government phsc add they successfully finished the vaccination in our children. Vaccination start by doctors at 9:30 AM and ends up on 1:00 PM. In between this we the prospective teachers helped them in enrollment, registration and assissted them while getting vaccinated.                 as a teacher i felt proud.

Teaching practice day 15 ( online mode )

  It was my first online class on 26th January on Republic day. As per the timetable I got 8thE class. 16 students attempted the online class. Apart from physical offline class I feel an artificiality between us even though these 16 students responded very interestingly and the transormation of idea made possible.                            the timetable was provided by the school management as per the time table we only have limitted online class on that week.  it was a different experience to be in online mode. and something this time make me enthusiastic.i tried to make the class interesting through ppt and videos. and as per the timetable provide , we got 1 hour to take class. class started at 5;00pm and ended at 6;00 pm.
